Patron's Purpose
Patrons of OKC Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization that strives to support Oklahoma City Animal Welfare. By doing so, our hope is to improve the safety, welfare, and health of both pets and people in the Oklahoma City Metro.
We're committed to fulfilling our mission and contributing to the operation of Animal Welfare through a variety of ways. These include:
Supplying resources to animal shelter programs.
Spreading awareness of animal shelter programs.
Promoting increased spay and neuter efforts to reduce pet overpopulation and decrease Shelter intake.
Achieving the goal of making the Shelter No-Kill through financial assistance.
We’ve been very fortunate to receive support from several organizations. We were awarded a $120,000 grant from the WaterShed Animal Fund to aid our Community Cat Program. We also received a $50,000 grant from PetSmart Charities to improve the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter.
Even with these generous gestures, however, we still rely on the generosity and support of animal lovers like you.
